Hookah set has important parts

The hookah set has 4 most important parts and their functions

  1. Bowl – In general, bowls are made of clay, molded to the desired size and coated with a special liquid to make them harder and heat resistant. The bowl functions to hold tobacco and as a place to cook tobacco.
  2. Stem – a tool that connects the bowl to the vase or bong, the vase has a fairly important role where this tool greatly influences the airflow
  3. Vase/Bong – Usually vases/bongs are made of glass, but there are vases made of other materials too. The vase will be filled with water to function as a filter.
  4. Hose – The hose will be connected to the stem which functions to inhale smoke.

How does a hookah work?

First of all. Tobacco is put into the bowl according to the desired measurement, then the bowl that has been filled with tobacco is covered with aluminum foil or kaloud made of stainless still. If you are still using aluminum foil, you need to pierce the aluminum foil with a toothpick or any object to make a small hole with a diameter of 1-2 mm. Then the bowl is covered with hot charcoal, leave it for a while to heat the bowl and cook the tobacco, this process takes 5 minutes

When the user inhales through the hose for the first time, the air in the vase is released with low pressure created in the vase must be removed through the gap by blowing, this aims to remove the pungent combustion smoke. the smoke that occurs due to heating that occurs in the bowl, passes through the vertical rod (stem) and is released through the end of the rod (filter) which is 3 cm below the surface of the water. when the smoke comes out of the stem and goes to the surface of the water, the process is cooling and filtering the smoke and will be directly inhaled by the user through the hose.
